Without the storms of life, much of the beauty of nature would never be revealed. Whether it’s the erosion of a valley or the drops of rain left on flowers, there can be new wonders revealed by the storms. Other times they just wreck everything. I guess that’s life. May you survive your storms and come out looking better.
(Click to enlarge – I think the drops of water on these flowers are interesting. Obviously, the weather they were exposed to was pretty mild.)
Hey Jeff. I’m new to the Blog world, just learning the rules and culture, and don’t know how else to contact you. I really dig a lot of what you write and have read for some time. I’ve recently started to explore how my faith and politics mingle together and I’ve started blogging about it. Would you take a look and tell me what you think?
I like how you used the photo as a metaphor for our lives. I’m going to have to go back to some of my shots and see if I can come up with good analogies for life.
Interesting blog, Drew. Like the format. Keep writing – that’s about all I can say by way of advice. Most bloggers burn out after a few months. Make a goal of writing at least weekly, preferably more, and just do it. But don’t forget to take time each day for your novel – something I’m working on, too.
Blogging about political issues is a tough route – there are so many political blogs, and everything thinks they are an expert.
Love the Photo! I have a photo blog and take tons of flower pics. Yours is really good!
I love your blog and link it a lot while out talking about the LDS faith. I hope you don’t mind.
Well, that flower was so cute. I just wonder what do you called it. Anyway, Anyway, I'm been looking for topics as interesting as this. Looking forward to your next post.
