J. Stapley has started a new LDS blog, Splendid Sun, that I enjoy for its clarity of writing and tone. Who is Brother Stapley? As he explains in his introduction, he is a BYU grad and returned missionary with a Ph.D. in carbohydrate chemistry from Purdue, who spent his teenage years in the Midwest. Nice credentials, from my point of view (plus I love the Midwest!). Nice work, Brother Stapley.
