Pondering the recent news about the complex beauty of the moon Titan, I am reminded of the many other scenes of stunning beauty and wonder that are periodically uncovered in remote, inaccessible places such as in long-hidden caves or around thermal vents at the bottom of the ocean. The artistry of God fills many canvasses with beauty that no mortal has ever seen. While this adds to the joys of human exploration, perhaps some of the hidden beauty of our planet, our solar system, and indeed, the universe is there for purposes other than the enjoyment of mortals. Perhaps much of it is just the natural result of the finely tuned physics of the Creation, but might some of it be for the added satisfaction of those beyond our mortal realm? In any case, after the Resurrection, there are a lot of places I want to explore!
Pondering the Creation
I’m surprised at how little media coverage there is on this. There’s more interest in Hollywood vanity awards than there is in truly groundbreaking science and exploration.
W/regards to the resurrection – look forward to taking a dip and swimming in the liquid methane. I’ll be sure to bring a body suit to keep me warm.
I’m with you guys, I’m up to exploring neat, out-of-the-way places after resurrection. Actually, I’d love to stay under water for longer than 30 seconds (at most). Maybe half an hour? ^_^
